About Us

"To transform our culture by creating a world where Science and Technology are celebrated and where young people dream of becoming Science and Technology leaders" - Dean Kamen, Founder

The Arrowbots Robotics Club are a FIRST Robotics Competition Team (aka FRC Team 3705) started in the 2010-2011 season. We are students in the Fletcher's Meadow Secondary School community of Bramption working with the support of our parents, mentors and community partners to develop skills for the future and improve our communities through FIRST. Our purpose is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders by engaging them in exciting mentor based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication and leadership. We have also received awards: the International Safety Animation Award in 2012, as well as regional tournament awards for the AutoDesk Design Award for Animation 2011,  Tournament Finalist Award in 2014, and team Spirit Award in 2014

FIRST is For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology. This non-profit organization's mission is to inspire young people to pursue further studies and careers in the field of science, technology and engineering. Their vision is of a world which celebrates success in science, technology and engineering and in which young people dream of becoming science and technology heroes. They pursue this mission primarily through running robotics competitions for school-age students at the elementary, junior high school and senior high school level.
